Everything you need to know about.

The Limassol – Troodos road is to the right of the Trimiklini dam, which is located 1500 meters north of Trimiklini village. It is a minor dam on the Kouri River with a 340 thousand cubic meter water storage capacity.
It is the only dam in Cyprus that consistently overflows, and when combined with the lovely valley that the river “carved” with its steep slopes, it provides the visitor with stunning views.

Old Fontana in Trimiklinis

Everything you need to know about.

The village has had access to potable water since antiquity. In opposition to the fountain was a home that no longer exists. After the subsidence that occurred as a result of the “creeping” ground in the area and the completion of road development projects, the existing house and adjacent water tank were demolished and a new house was constructed in their place. However, the opposite faucet was not disturbed at this time and continued to serve the village residents for many years. He awaited the end of modern “development and progress”

Everything you need to know about.

After the Old School Garden was transformed into a Community Park prior to 1994, the Community Park was created. Its history begins with the decision to sell the Old School Building and its Garden in order to purchase and erect a new School building in a different location. In 2006, Mr. Kostakis K. Christofis, the Deputy Community Head of Trimiklini, renamed the Trimiklini Community Park “Michalakis A. Konnaris Community Park” in honor of the village’s missing person Michalakis A. Konnaris, at which time a commemorative plaque was erected.

Everything you need to know about.

The ”Diplogiophyro”(bridge) is a symbol of Trimiklini, which is why the Cultural Club of the village is also named ”Diplogiophyro”(bridge). It is referred to as “Diplogiophyro” because it consists of two arches that are not contiguous but are stacked sixteen years apart and was constructed in two phases. It is also referred to as the “bridge on Trimiklini” because it is exquisitely constructed with hewn stones, securely established on the cliffs, and protected by side walls.

Everything you need to know about.

Dimitris Arminiotis was born in Trimiklini to agricultural parents on September 15, 1954. His father left him an orphan when he was young, so his mother engaged him when he was young and delayed to marry him until he was discharged from the military. However, her desires remained unfulfilled. The curse of Attila shattered them into a thousand fragments. Instead of dressing as a groom and attending church with his fiancee, her Dimitris became the bridegroom of liberty. In Agridaki, he was killed battling the Turkish invaders. A mortar round dismembered him.

Venetian Bridge in Trimiklini

Everything you need to know about.

The oldest bridge in Trimiklini was constructed during the Venetian era on the riverbed of the Kourris. It is constructed of riverbed stones and consists of three consecutive arches. The Pafos district was connected to Kalo Chorio (Limessou), Lefkara, and Nicosia at this point. The villagers refer to it as the “Mill Bridge,” while others refer to it as “Venetian,” likely because its style and construction are identical to the well-known “Tjiefelos Bridge” on the Diarizos River in Paphos, with the exception that the Trimiklinis is three-chambered, whereas the Tsiefelos Bridge is only one-chambered.
