The church of Agios Mnasonas was constructed in the center of the green valley of Kourris, on a hill west of the village. Agios was Agios Herakleides’ closest associate, being not only his pupil but also a teacher of other students. In addition to Agios Herakleides, he had also conducted numerous miracles while he was alive. Before falling unconscious, Agios Herakleides designated Mnasona as his successor on the episcopal throne of Tamasos. Simultaneously, he made Rhodona a cleric, who subsequently appoints him as Mnason’s successor. Agios Heraklidios served as high priest, Agios Mnason as priest, and then Rodonas, a student, traveled proclaiming the gospel of Christ. The modest church of Agios Mnason, whose memory is celebrated on October 19, was inaugurated in Trimiklini on April 26, 1982.
